Meagan Rinck - Race Director
Meagan has competed in several triathlons from sprint distance to half ironman distances and is scheduled to do an extreme triathlon in 2022. She has participated in many events from running the North Country Trail 50k, Biking in the Iceman Commeth challenge and has participated in VASA. She is a mother of two children who have both completed in triathlons and are her inspiration to keep active and fit. Meagan works full time in the local healthcare facility and has hosted a number of group outings with the organization. She also is the Race director for Alpenfest, Alpenfrost frosty 5k, Toys for tot’s turkey trot and is part of the USA Gaylord Masters Swim Club. Northern Michigan Winters hold a special place for her, because it is a new season to be active. Meagan has lived in Northern Michigan her entire life and has found a passion in exploring the winter wonderland and snowshoeing, cross country skiing, fat tire biking, ice skating, downhill skiing, and sledding. She believes that athletic activities are not just for the summer and fall, but all year round. Gaylord all outdoors has so much to offer, and people can learn to enjoy all the seasons. Why limit triathlons to just the summer? There is no off season, there is a new season.
Thank you to everyone who has supported me and helped make my dreams come true! I couldn't have done it without you. Now it's time to get back to training!
